30 years after the greatest achievement of the Bulgarian national football team, the heroes have reunited with a charitable mission. They have founded the “Nationals 94” Foundation, whose main goal is to support people in football and children in disadvantaged situations.
The chairman of the Foundation will be the captain of the “Lions” who secured the bronze medals at the World Cup in the USA. His deputies will be Hristo Stoichkov and Krasimir Balakov.

Bulgaria’s legendary former playmaker Krasimir Balakov has formally taken over the German Bundesliga bottom club Kaiserslautern.
Balakov made 92 appearances for Bulgaria, between 1988 and 2003 (one of the best midfielders in national history) and scored 16 goals.
